The concept of Nudge
What if I told you that even if you had control over yourself that you don’t? That most of the choices we make are environmental, in fact, a lot of which could be changed through just changing the order of a few items in a line.

Nudge, in layman terms, can be said as any item/factor that could significantly alter the behaviour of humans. The concept of the same could even be seen as day-to-day places such as Supermarket where people are more likely to buy things which are at eye-level.
So, how are Nudges even used? They are used as simple as clickbait on youtube videos and articles, which help in increasing viewership. Even if the thing is most likely not related to the same. (P.s While writing the article, I wanted to see how it would help .)

But the major applications of Nudge are used by the government and institutional bodies specifically to alter the choices for the public so that they can make better decisions.
In essence, the power of nudge is held in hands of choice architects which provide the choices which subconsciously effect the choices of the people whether it be the placing of books by librarian or placing of food items in a buffet.
How can you benefit from such information? Usually knowing that your options are subconsciously affected helps in you in making informed decisions, such as not reading click-baity articles or looking at items on different levels in the supermarket next time.
